About
Bangladeshi Cricketers Alliance of North America (BCANA) is a community-driven sports organization founded with a singular goal: to bring together Bangladeshi cricket lovers from across North America under one vibrant, competitive, and inclusive platform.
Mission
To elevate the level of competitive cricket within the Bangladeshi-American community while fostering unity, youth development, and cultural connection through the spirit of the game.
What We Do?
ORGANIZE TOURNAMENTS
We organize seasonal tournaments in multiple formats including T10, T20, T30, and Under-25 youth competitions, with a strong focus on community, discipline, and opportunity. In 2022 alone, we registered over 440 players, 17 teams, held matches across 14+ cricket fields, and distributed more than $45,000 in trophies and prize money. Our league is supported by certified umpires, live match streaming, and enthusiastic fans from across the tri-state area.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Committed to nurturing professional growth, AAINA provides mentorship programs and career development workshops, and job placement assistance to provide guidance and support in achieving career aspirations.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT CHARITIES
Beyond cricket, BCANA also contributes to charitable causes—supporting disaster relief, volunteering in local communities, and partnering with organizations like the Commonwealth League.
